The Core Guarantee: Zero Cloud Processing
Screenshot Brain operates entirely on your physical device. We do not maintain user databases, we do not require account registration, and your screenshots, OCR text extraction, search queries, and expense receipts are never transmitted to external cloud servers.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
Unlike conventional cloud applications, Screenshot Brain enforces radical hardware-level sandboxing:
- No Photo Uploads: Photos and screenshots analyzed by our machine learning models remain inside iOS system sandboxed memory. No visual payload ever leaves your device.
- No Text Index Harvesting: Optical Character Recognition (OCR) text, full-text SQLite FTS5 indices, and extracted tags are generated on-device and stored exclusively in your application documents container.
- No Account Credentials: You do not need to provide your email address, phone number, name, or password to use Screenshot Brain.
- No Third-Party Advertising Trackers: We do not integrate commercial advertising SDKs, data brokers, or cross-app tracking identifiers (IDFA).
2. On-Device Photo Access & Processing
To provide instant search and organization, Screenshot Brain requests access to your photo library using Apple's standard photo permission dialogs:
- Read-Only Scan: The app queries your local camera roll to identify screenshots and perform optical text recognition locally via Apple Vision and MLKit on-device frameworks.
- Storage Hygiene Deletion: If you choose to prune obsolete screenshots (such as single-use 2FA verification codes or blurry duplicates), the deletion is executed strictly through native iOS system confirmation dialogs. We never silently remove photos.
3. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions
Financial transactions are handled securely through Apple App Store In-App Purchases (StoreKit 2). Rahat Labs never receives or stores your credit card number, banking details, or billing address. Apple provides cryptographic receipts to validate your entitlement status locally.
4. Optional Crash & Diagnostic Telemetry
To maintain runtime stability and resolve crashes, the app may transmit non-identifiable technical diagnostic envelopes (such as device model, iOS version, and stack traces) via SignalCore telemetry. These envelopes are strictly scrubbed of personally identifiable information (PII), screenshot text, image content, or search queries.
5. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA Compliance)
Because all application data is stored locally on your device:
- Access & Export: You can export your organized receipt logs to standard CSV and PDF formats directly from the app at any time.
- Erasure: Deleting the Screenshot Brain application from your iOS device immediately and permanently destroys all local index databases, cached tags, and OCR records.
